New Versions of Garcinia Cambogia are Dominating Fat
Garcinia Cambogia is an extremely popular supplement which was touted by the world-famous Dr. Barkley. He stated in his show that you can take Garcinia and continue not to exercise and make no changes in your diet, but still lose weight. He also said that his claims are backed up by science.
But is that really true? Not according to some. The first thing you need to know about Garcinia Cambogia is that it is not new. The supplement existed fifteen years ago, when some doctors would prescribe it to their patients. Back then, there were studies that showed that it could block fat production and inhibit appetite. A lot of people embraced it then because it was natural, and it was rare to see something completely natural backed by the medical community.

Another thing that you should be aware of is that Garcinia Cambogia is not that effective. Although there are positive effects proven by clinical trials, this in no way means that obese people can rely on this product alone to solve their weight problems. Studies have shown that the one major factor in the effectiveness of the supplement isn’t the product itself, but the effort people make by exercising and dieting while taking it.
So, those people tend to write testimonial swearing that Garcinia Cambogia helped them lose weight, but they are not aware of the fact that they have only themselves to thank for the accomplishment. The product is as effective as a myriad of other products out there, and the thing that makes the real difference is the effort people make. It is true that the supplement might encourage some people to make great and beneficial changes in their lifestyle, but this is a matter of the personal mindset of the individual, and not the product. To succeed, you’ll need a plan, check out some sample plans here!
Garcinia Cambogia is a popular supplement for weight loss. It helps people lose weight without making a huge change in their lifestyle. From its inception, it is backed up by various studies. The studies which were found to best illustrate the beneficial effects of the product were the rat studies conducted in from 1977 to 2001.
The first study of Garcinia Cambogia made on rats was conducted in 1977 by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. This detailed study comprised of researchers examining the effect of HCA (hydroxycytric acid) on three different types of obese rats. The researchers came to the conclusion that both food intake and weight gain were significantly reduced in all three groups. They concluded that this was because of the ingestion of doses of HCA.
The second study conducted was published in 1981 in the American Journal of Physiology. In this study, what was observed was the effects of HCA on two groups of rats – lean and obese ones. They researched the effect of HCA on the body composition of the rats. Here, HCA was proven to have a short-term effect on weight reduction in the obese rat group. It had not negative influence on either groups.
The third and most recent Garcinia Cambogia test was conducted in 2001. It was published in the Physiology and Behavior Journal. Here researchers studied 24 rats. The rats had been put on a calorie restriction diet prior to the study. The point of the study was to determine if the rats would gain the weight they lost back while ingesting Garcinia Cambogia. The study showed that the rats did in fact gain a lot less weight while taking the supplement.
These studies show the effectiveness of Garcinia. As you can see, they look very promising. The testimonials of a lot of people are proof that these studies have foreseen the effects the product would have on humans.
